How to change a user's permissions

  1. Go to Settings then Administrator, and find the user whose permissions you want to edit

  2. Click on the Edit icon next to their name

  3. Tick or untick the permissions as relevant

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit modal and click Save Changes to save

What do the permissions mean?

For the selected form, each permission allows a user to:

Preparer

  1. View the form

  2. Upload files

  3. Assign the form to another user

Reviewer

  1. View the form

  2. Move the form from "Ready for Review" to "In Review", and from "In Review" to "Reviewed"

  3. Assign the form to another user

Approver

  1. View the form

  2. Move the form from "Reviewed" to "Approved"

  3. Assign the form to another user

Submitter

  1. View the form

  2. Move the form from "Approved" to "Submitted"

  3. Assign the form to another user

Administrator

  1. View the form

  2. Take action on "Selected for Resubmission" status and

  3. Override the workflow by moving a form back a step

  4. Assign the form to other users

Downloader

  1. View the form

  2. Download files that have been uploaded to Nuj for that form (even if that user did not upload the file)

  3. Assign the form to other users

Writer

  1. View the form

  2. Assign the form to other users

A user can have multiple permissions ticked against the same form. For example, you may want to allow your Reviewers to download the files, so you would give them both the Reviewer and Downloader permissions.
